Galbally 2-10 Dromcollogher/Broadford 0-14
This was a game for two halves with Galbally leading at the break by 2-7 to 0-7 and then in the second half we out-scored Galbally by 0-7 to 0-3 but we lost to by two points at end of the game. The above club would like to the management team: Kevin McGill, Jerome Stack, Mike Fahy, Danny Corkery, Eoin Barry, Backroom Team: Garry Noonan, Jimmy Lacey, Physio: Tadgh O’Sullivan and Officers: Adarian Cahill, Gareth Meaney and Patrick Noonan and the brilliant panel of players led by: Garrett Noonan Captain for their efforts during the year gone by.
James Ryan of Galbally and Micheál Brosnan of Dromcollogher/Broadford exchanged points and then Mike Donovan of Galbally and Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points. Jamie Morrissey of Galbally and Brian Aherne of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points and then Mike Donovan of Galbally and Cillian Fahy of Dromcollogher/Broadford exchanged points to leave score at four points each with 13 minutes gone in the game. Galbally scored the next two points, and these points came from Ciaran Sheehan and Ger Quinlan to give them a lead of two points and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points, and these points came from Micheál Brosnan and Garrett Noonan to bring sides back on level terms for the fifth time during the game with 21 minutes gone in the game. Galbally scored the next 1-1 of the game with the point coming from Eoin O’Mahony and the goal coming from Jamie Morrissey with 25 minutes gone in the game to give them lead of four points and then Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored another pointed free to leave three points between the sides. James Ryan of Galbally scored the next goal of the game with 29 minutes gone in the game to give them a lead of six points at the break. To leave the score at half-time Galbally 2-7 to Dromcollogher/Broadford 0-7.
James Molyneaux of Dromcollogher/Broadford and Ger Quinlan of Galbally exchanged points early in the second half to leave two goals between the sides and then Garrett Noonan of Dromcollogher/Broadford and Mark Quinlan of Galbally exchanged points to leave six points between the sides once again. Mark Quinlan of Galbally scored the next point to leave seven points between the sides with 42 minutes gone in the game and then Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next five points of the game to leave two points sides at end of the game with three of these points coming from Brian Ahern and the other points came from Garrett Noonan and Tommy Ryan.
