This a tight game at the break was 1-4 to 0-6 in favour in the first half of the game and then in the second half Newcastle West 1-8 to 0-7 to leave five points sides at end of the half and the table after five rounds: Dromcollogher/Broadford 8 points +22, Newcastle West 6 points + 24, Gerald Griffins 5 points +6, St. Senans 5 points -11, St. Patrick’s 4 points +2, Castlemahon 2 points -43, This puts into the Semi-Final against the winners Galbally v Gerald Griffins on week ending Sunday October 20th.

Jack Pierce of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first point of the game and then Newcastle West replied with a point to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game.  Brian Foley of Dromcollogher/Broadford and Garrett Noonan of Dromcollogher/Broadford exchanged points and then Stephen Kelly of Newcastle West and Brian Ahern of Dromcollogher/Broadford exchanged points to bring sides on back level for the third time during the game. Ben Finnegan of Newcastle West scored the first goal of the game with 17 minutes gone in the game to leave a goal between the sides and then Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/Broadford replied with a point from mark to leave two points between the sides.  Newcastle West scored the next point of the game and then Garrett Noonan of Dromcollogher/Broadford replied with the next point to leave two points between the sides.  Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next point just before the break to leave a point sides at end of the half. This was a very tight game with at half-time at 0-10 to 1-10 in favour of Dromcollogher/Broadford with our goal coming from and then in the second half Kildimo/Pallaskenry outscored us by 2-4 to 0-6, Paul Madigan scored 8 points, Darragh Reidy 1-2, and 2 points each came from Adam Cotter, Ronan O’Sullivan and Aaron Leahy. The above club would like to the management team of Adrian Cahill, Patrick Noonan and Michael O’Sullivan and the lead by Séamus Barry Captain.

Kildimo/Pallaskenry scored the first three points of the game and then Darragh Reidy of Dromcollogher/Broadford to leave two points between the sides and then Kildimo/Pallaskenry scored the next two points to lead four points.
