Adare 1-15 Dromcollogher/Broadford 0-12

This was a very tight game played down in Dromcollogher, on last Wednesday night, after two rounds the table reads as follows: St. Patrick’s 4 points +46, Adare 4 points +14, Dromcollogher/Broadford 2 points 0, Knockaderry 2 points + 9, Blackrock 0 point – 25, Southside Gaels 0 point -44. Ronan O’Sullivan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the first point of the game and then Adare scored the next four points of the game to lead by three points.  Colin Burke of Dromcollogher/Broadford replied with the next point to leave two points between the sides and then Adare scored the next three points to lead to five points. Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next three points with two of these coming from Colin Burke and the other point came from Adam O’Kelly to leave two points between the sides and then Adare the last point of the half to lead by three points at end of the half. To leave the score at half-time Adare 0-8 to Dromcollogher/Broadford 0-5.

Adare scored the first point of the second half to leave four points between the sides and then Dromcollogher/Broadford the next four points to sides back on level terms for the second time during the game and with three of these points coming from Colin Burke and the other point came from Ronan O’Sullivan. Adare scored the next two points to take the lead once again and then Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next two points, and these points came from Colin Burke and Ryan Sheehan to bring sides for the third time during the game. Adare scored the next three points to take the lead once again and then Adam O’Kelly of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next point of the game to leave two points between the sides. Adare scored the next 1-1 to seal victory for Adare on the night to leave six points at the end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Adare 1-15 to Dromcollogher/Broadford 1-12. This was a very tight game played in very fine conditions with Dromcollogher/Broadford scoring two goals late in the game when and we were down by five points earlier in the half and then Murroe/Boher scored the last three points of the game to bring sides back on level terms, to give both teams a point on the night in question. After two rounds the table reads as follows: Doon 3 points +27, Murroe/Boher 3 points +26, Kilteely/Dromkeen 2 points -25, Hospital/Hertberstown 1 point 0, Dromcollogher/Broadford 1 point 0, Ballybricken/Bohermore/ no points -28. Murroe/Boher scored the first point of the game and then Darragh Reidy replied with point to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game. Murroe/Boher scored the next point of the game to take the lead once again and then Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next two points coming from Brian Noonan and Brian Stack to give us the lead for the first time during the game. Murroe/Boher scored the next point bring sides back for third time during the game and then Darragh Reidy scored the next point for Dromcollogher/Broadford to give us back the lead once again and then Murroe/Boher scored another point to bring the sides back on level terms for the third time during the game. Brian Noonan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/Broadford to give us the lead once again and then Murroe/Boher scored another point to bring sides back on level terms for the fourth time during the game. Brian Stack of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next two points to give us back the lead once again and then Murroe/Boher scored the next 1-2 of the game to lead by two points at the break.
