Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-6 Athea 1-6
This was a great game between two evenly match teams played down in Athea on a Saturday last, this was a charity match for Carol Liston O’Connor who has Motor Neuron Disease. There was a great goal scored by Micheál Reidy of Dromcollogher/ Broadford to sides back on level terms towards the end of the game to bring sides back to play again in near future in a replay.
Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first two points of the game, and these points came from Garrett Noonan and Patrick Donnelly and then Gerard Ahern replied with next point for Athea to leave a point between the sides. Patrick Donnelly of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point to leave two points between the sides and then Gerard Ahern scored the next point of the game for Athea to leave a point between the sides. Garrett Noonan scored next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave the score 4 points to 2 points to give us a lead of two points and then Gerard Ahern scored the next point for Athea to leave a point between the sides at the break. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-4 to Athea 0-3.
Mikey Clancy of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point of the game to leave two points between the sides and then Gerard Ahern of Athea scored the next 1-1 of the game to give them the lead for the first time with 40 minutes to leave two points between the sides. Athea scored the next two points of the game, and these points came from Denis Collins and Mike Reidy to leave four points between the sides and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point of the game coming from John O’Kelly to leave three points between the sides. Micheál Reidy of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next goal of the game which he roofed to Athea’s net to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game with 53 minutes gone in the game. To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-6 to Athea 1-6.

Our Junior A Hurlers had a great win over Templeglantine on a scoreline of 3-17 to 0-15, it was great to get the season off to a winning start and the table after two rounds reads as follows: Tournfaulla 4 points +24, Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2 points +11, Killeedy 1 point 0, Rathkeale 1 point -21, Askeaton 0 points, Templeglantine 0 points – 14. West Junior B Hurling League Round 2
Our Junior B Hurlers had a great win over Adare on a scoreline of 2-15 to 1-11, it was great to get season off to a winning start and the table after two rounds as follows: Knockaderry 2 points +8, Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2 points + 7, Croagh/ Kilfinny 0 points 0, Granagh/ Ballingarry 0 points 0, Adare 0 points -7, St. Kieran’s 0 points -8. Minor Football Championship Phase 1 Round 1
Limerick were defeated by Clare on a scoreline of 3-06 to 0-09, Hard luck to Limerick Minor Footballers Management Team led by Gerard O’Connor and especially to our club Management Tommy Stack and our club players Adam O’Kelly, Jack Noonan, Ryan Sheehan.

U20 B Football Championship Final
Limerick defeated Waterford on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-05, Congratulations to Limerick U20 Footballers Management Team led by Shane Kelly and especially to our club player Micheál Fahy who started at full forward and played 50 minutes of the game.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw:
