This was a very one-sided game  played in Kilfinane on Friday evening last, , with three goals coming from Ray Lynch, Séan Brosnan and John O’Kelly, this was first game in the group stages and we have Monaleen and Fr. Casey’s left to play and table after two rounds reads as follows Fr. Casey’s 6 points, Dromcollogher/ Broadford 4 points, Monaleen and Hospital/ Herbertstown both on no points.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first 2-5 of the game with the goals coming from John O’Kelly and Séan Brosnan and with two of these points coming from John O’Kelly and the others points coming from Kevin McGill, Keith Lacey and Thomas Fitzgerald and then Hospital/ Herbertstown scored their first of the game to leave ten points between the sides. Ray Lynch scored the next point of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Hospital/ Herbertstown replied with the next two points of the game to leave nine points between the sides. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points of the game just before the break to leave eleven points between the sides at end of the half and these points came from Ray Lynch and Patrick Donnelly. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-8 to Hospital/ Hospital 0-3.

Ray Lynch scored the next goal of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Hospital/ Herbertstown replied with a goal of their own coming from penalty to leave 11 points between the sides once again. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points to leave 13 points between the sides and these points came from Séan Brosnan and Jason Stokes and then Hospital/ Herbertstown scored the next three points to leave 10 points between the sides. Shane Murphy scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave 11 points between the sides and then Hospital/ Herbertstown scored the next point to leave 10 points between the sides once again. John O’Kelly scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave 11 points between the sides once again and then Hospital/ Herbertstown scored the next point to leave 10 points between the sides once again and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three points of the game to leave 13 points between sides at end of the game and these points came from Keith Lacey, Ray Lynch and Shane Murphy. This was a tight game played down in Kilmallock on last Thursday Night in very fine conditions, with our goal on the coming from James Molyneaux and Two goals for Galbally came from Brian Noonan a og and Michael Donovan, this is was our fourth game with Na Pairsaigh left to play in the last round of the group stages and the table after four rounds is as follows Newcastle West and Oola both on 8 points, St. Kieran’s 4 points, Galbally and Na Pairsaigh both on two points and Dromcollogher/ Broadford no points.

Galbally scored the first three points of the game with two coming from Ger Quinlan and the other from Pat Ryan and then Derry McCarthy replied with a pointed free for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave two points between the sides. Ger Quinlan of Galbally and Paul Madigan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points to leave two points between the sides once again. James Molyneaux of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Michael Donavan of Galbally exchanged points to leave two points between the sides. Galbally scored the next three points and these points came from Kieran Hickey, John Kerans and Ger Ryan to leave five points between at the break. To leave the score at half-time Gabally 0-8 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-3

Galbally scored the first 1-2 of the second half with the coming from Michael Donavan and the points came from Michael Donavan and Ger Quinlan to leave 10 points between the sides with 35 minutes gone in the game and then James Molyneaux replied with a goal for Dromcollogher/ Broadford with 41 minutes gone in the game to leave seven points between the sides. Denis Donegan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave six points between the sides and then Galbally scored the next 1-1 of the game with goal coming from Brian Noonan a og and the point coming from Kieran Hickey to leave 10 points between the sides once again with 57 minutes gone in the game. Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with two more points before the end of the game to leave 8 points between the sides at end of the game and these points came from Derry McCarthy and Cillian Fahy both from pointed frees. To leave the score at full-time Galbally 2-11 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-06.

This was a very tight game played down in Dromcollogher on last Friday night with our goals on the night coming from Kenny Lynch scored two goals and the others goals came from Adam Cotter and Lee Foley to leave a point between the sides at end of the game and the table after five rounds the table reads as follows Dromcollogher/ Broadford 9 points, Adare 8 points, Na Pairsaigh 7 points, Shannon Gaels 3 points, Kildimo/ Pallaskenry 2 points and Rathkeale no points and then semi-finals pairings are as follows Dromcollogher/ Broadford VS Shannon Gaels and Adare VS Na Pairsaigh.

Weeding Bells

Congratulations to Thomas Twomey of Dromcollogher and Colette Sexton of Mullagh (Clare) who got married on Saturday last the church was in Mullagh (Clare) and the reception afterward was held in the Armada hotel (Spanish point, Clare), a great day was had by all and congrats once again to newly married couple Thomas and Colette.
