County Intermediate Football Championship Final
Mungret/St. Paul’s 1-8 Dromcollogher/Broadford 1-3
This was a game of two halves with Mungret/St. Paul’s leading at the by 0-5 to 0-1 with our point coming from Brian Ahern and then in the Second half then scored Mungret/St. Paul 1-3 to Dromcollogher/Broadford 1-2 with our goal coming from Brian Aherne and the points came from Jack Pierce and Micheál Brosnan a point each. The above club would like to the management team of Kevin McGill, Liam McGraynor, Garry Noonan, Danny Corkery and Eoin Bary and the Backroom team of Jimmy Lacey and Diarmuid Reidy and the brilliant panel of players led by Sean O’Sullivan Captain.
The first three points came from Mungret/St. Paul’s scored the first three points of the game and these points came from Brendan Gilltenane, Shane Barry, John Hutton and then we replied with our first point and only point of the half coming from Brian Ahern to leave two points between the sides. Mungret/St. Paul’s scored the last two points of the first half and these points both came from John Hutton to leave four points sides at the break and Brian Stack made first great save of the game. Jack Pierce of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the first point of the second half to leave three points between the sides and then Mungret/St. Paul’s scored the next 1-2 of the game of the game with goal coming from James Killian with 42 minutes gone in the game and both of the points came from Brian Barry to leave eight points between the sides. Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next goal of the game coming from Brian Ahern with 45 minutes gone in the game to leave five points and then Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/Broadford shot was blocked by the Mungret/St. Paul’s Keeper Jake Foley. Brendan Giltenane of Mungret/St. Paul’s and Micheál Brosnan of Dromcollogher/Broadford exchanged points to leave five points between the sides end again and then Brian Stack of Dromcollogher/ Broadford made another great save and then the substitute keeper Timmy Brosnan made another gave save in the dying minutes of the game to leave five points between the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Mungret/St. Paul’s 1-8 to Dromcollogher/Broadford 1-3.

The following are the Results of the Lotto Draw that took place on the 31-10-23, and the numbers were 3, 8, 14, 24 There was no winner of Jackpot at €4,700 and there were two winners of match three at €100 and they got €50 each and they were: Mary Sheehan Dromcollogher and John Browne, Killeedy and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Tommy Ryan, Dromcollogher, and Ben and Kathleen Costello, Woodfield, Dromcollogher and the next draw took place on Monday last night 06-11-2023, in the GAA Clubhouse, Dromcollogher, at 9pm and the Jackpot will be at €4,800 and the Match Three will be staying at €100.
