Dromcollogher/ Broadford​ 2-10 Pallasgreen​ 2-09
This was a very tight game with both sides playing great hurling played down in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale, on Sunday last with, with our boys winning after an epic Battle after extra time winning by a point. our two goals on the morning came from: Jack Noonan and Dan O’Connell, the above club would like to congratulate the management team of John O’Dell and Marty Stokes and the brilliant panel of players lead by Rory O’Dell Captain, with other points coming Colin Burke 0-5, John Lenihan and Ollie Stokes 2 points each, Jack Noonan a point.
Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first two points of the game, and these points came from Colin Burke and Ollie Stokes and then Pallasgreen scored the next 1-1 of the game to lead by two points. John Lenihan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave a point between and then Pallasgreen scored another point to put two points between the sides. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-2 of the game to lead by lead by three points at the break with the goal coming from Jack Noonan and the points came from Colin Burke and Ollie Stokes. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-5 to Pallasgreen 1-2.
Pallasgreen scored the first 2 points of the second half to leave a point between the sides and then John Lenihan scored another point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave two points between the sides. Pallasgreen scored the next point to leave a point between the sides and then Dan O’Connell scored the next goal of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford with 40 minutes gone in the game to give us a lead of four points. Jack Noonan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave five points between the sides and then Pallasgreen scored the next 1-2 of the game to bring the game to extra-time. To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-7 to Pallasgreen 2-7.
Colin Burke of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first two points of extra-time to put two points between sides at end of the first half of extra-time. Pallasgreen scored the first point of the second half in extra-time to leave a point between the sides and then Colin Burke scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave two points between the sides. Pallasgreen scored the last point of the game to leave a point the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time in extra-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-10 to Pallasgreen 2-09.
