This was a game of two halves with sides level at the break on a scoreline of 1-4 to 0-07 and then in the second half Feenagh/ Kilmeedy outscored us by 1-10 to 0-06, the above club would like to thank the management team of James Noonan, Ben Noonan, Colm Meaney, Cathal O’Brien, Adrian Cahill, Mike Boyce and Patrick Noonan, Backroom Team: Jimmy Lacey, Diarmuid Reidy, Colin Burke.
Brian Stack of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Ruairi O’Connor of Feengh/ Kilmeedy exchanged points and then Ruairi O’Connor scored his goal of the game with three minutes gone in the first half. Séan O’Sullivan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Maurice Fitzgibbon of Feenagh/ Kilmeedy exchanged points to leave three points between the sides and then Séan Kelly of Feenagh/ Kilmeedy and Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points to leave three points between the sides once again. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three points to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game with two of these points came from Kevin Noonan and the other point came from Denis Donegan and then Diarmuid Coleman of Feenagh/ Kilmeedy and Sean O’Sullivan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points just before the break to sides back on level terms for the second time during the game. To leave the score at half-time Feenagh/ Kilmeedy 1-4 to Dromcolllogher/ Broadford 0-7.
Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Diarmuid Coleman of Feenagh/ Kilmeedy exchanged points exchanged points early in the second half to bring sides back on level terms for the third time during then Damien Burke of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and James O’Regan exchanged points to bring sides back on level terms for fourth time during the game. Maurice Fitzgibbon of Feenagh/ Kilmeedy and Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher exchanged points to bring sides back on level terms for the 5th time during the game and then Feenagh/ Kilmeedy scored the next 1-1 of the game with the goal coming from Ruairi O’Connor with 38 minutes gone in the game and the point coming from Luke Ryan to leave four points between the sides. Micheál Brosnan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Séan Kelly of Feenagh/ Kilmeedy exchanged points to leave four points between sides once again and then Feenagh/ Kilmeedy scored the next three points to leave of the game to leave seven points between the sides with two of these coming from Diarmuid Coleman and the other point came from Luke Ryan. Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Maurice Fitzgibbon of Feengah/ Kilmeedy exchanged points to leave seven points between the sides and then James O’Regan of Feenagh/ Kilmeedy and Declan Stack of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points to leave seven points between the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Feenagh/ Kilmeedy 2-14 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-13.
