U13 Football Championship Division 1A Round 3:
On Last Thursday evening, we played Kildimo/ Pallaskenry in our own turf in the 3rd round of the U13 football championship, it was a nice night for football with the pitch in immaculate condition, within a minute Ben Linehan had a point notched up which quickly followed by points from Liam Wright and Micheál O’Kelly, we began to dominate the game with very strong performances all over the field, the oppositions Keeper made some great saves before Micheál O’Kelly placed a ball in the top left hand corner of the net on the 8th minute, this score was followed in quick succession by points from Conor McGarry and a second from the booth of Ben Linehan , we finished the half with two quick points from the booth Ciarán o Callaghan finishing the half 1-7 to one point , Again we began the second half strong with points from Tiernan O’Flynn and Tom O’ Connor before Micheál O’Kelly netted his second goal , Cathal Sheehan, Conor McGarry , Muiris McCarthy and Donnacha Kirby added points to finish on a scoreline of 2-13 to 1-4 , a lot of very impressive performances from many players especially from the defenders and Cian in goals to keep the opposition from scoring. Well Done:
To Limerick Senior Hurlers management team led by John Kiely and the panel of players, against Tipperary, Limerick drew with Tipperary on 0-25 each, after an epic battle of hurling, in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship Round 4.
