This was a game of two hales with Fr. Casey’s leading by 0-4 to 0-1 at the break and then in the second half Fr. Casey’s out scored Dromcollogher/ Broadford on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-03.

U13 hurling Notes:
On Thursday night last our hurlers played there first game of the championship against Adare in Dromcollogher. The underground footing was heavy, our boys were a small bit sluggish in the first half, the boys trailed by 2 points at the break. During the break we all had a group chat and made a few tactical changes, bringing our keeper to center forward, which had a major impact on the game, with Cian O’Donovan going into goals. The boys really improved their performance by chasing every ball and picking off some vital scores. The final score on the night was Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-9 to Adare 3-2. This was a great performance by all the players, a brilliant result for the first game of the championship.
