This was a very tight game until extra time but then in extra time we outscored St. Patrick’s by 2-5 to 0-2, we now play Ballysteen, in the Semi-Final on tomorrow Thursday December 22nd, in Adare, at 8pm, with extra-time, if necessary, Please support our U21 Footballers.
St. Patrick’s scored the 1-2 of the game and then Brian Ahern of Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with a pointed to leave four points between the sides. St. Patrick’s scored the next point of the game and then Brian Ahern Of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-1 of the game for Dromcollogher/Broadford to leave a point between the sides with 13 minutes gone in the game. St. Patrick’s scored the next point to lead by two points and then Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next two points to bring sides back on level terms for the first time and these points came from Brian Ahern and Kenny Lynch. St. Patrick’s scored another point to take the lead once again and then Brian Ahern of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored his second goal of the game with 25 minutes gone in the game to give us lead of two points. St. Patrick’s scored the next two points to bring sides back on level terms for the second time during the game and then Tommy Ryan of Dromcollogher/Broadford to give us back the lead once again and then St. Patrick’s scored the last point of the half to bring sides back on level terms for the third time during the game. St. Patrick’s scored the next two points of the game to take the lead once again and then Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next three points to give us a lead of a point and these points came from Jack Pierce, Brian Ahern and James Molyneaux. St. Patrick’s scored the last point of the game to bring sides back on level terms for the six time during the game and to bring the game to extra-time. To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/Broadford 2-9 to St. Patrick’s 1-12.
