This was a very tight game with our boys played well despite the result the on the day we unlucky not to win on the today, we were down a lot of players on the day against a senior Football team with our goal on the day coming from Kenny Lynch. With three teams’ level on top with two point each are as follows: Fr. Casey’s, Rathkeale and Ballysteen and then leave two points on no points after two games Adare and Dromcollogher/ Broadford.
Kevin Noonan scored the first point of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Ballysteen replied with a point to bring sides for the first time during the game. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three point with Kevin Noonan scoring two of these points and the other point came from Damien Burke and then Ballysteen scored the next 1-3 of the game to lead by three points at the break. To leave the score at half-time Ballysteen 1-4 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-4.
Kevin Noonan scored the first point of the second half to leave two points between the sides and then Ballysteen scored the next two points to leave four points between the sides. Kenny Lynch of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored a great goal after receiving a great pass from Jack Ryan to leave a point between the sides with 40 minutes gone in the game and then Ballysteen scored the 1-1 of the game to leave five points between sides. Kevin Noonan scored another point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave four points between the side and then Ballysteen scored the two points of the game to leave six points between the sides. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the last four points of the game with two of these points coming from Kevin Noonan and the other points came from Eoin O’Brien and Séan Madden to leave two points at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Ballysteen 2-09 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-10.

This was one-sided game with Ballysteen been much better and stronger team on the day, this was our second game in this group after us getting walkover from Athea there last week, this loss leaves us on two points after two games and our goal came on today came from Brian Stack. The table after two rounds the table read as follows: Ballysteen 4 points, Granagh/ Ballingarry, St. Kieran’s, Dromcollogher/ Broadford all on 2 points, Athea, Glin, Mountcollins all on no points.
Ballysteen scored the first three points of the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points, and these points came from Killian Cahill and Timmy Stokes. Ballysteen scored the last four points of the half to leave five points between the sides at the break. To leave the score at half-time Ballysteen 0-7 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-2.
Ballysteen scored the first three points of the second half to extend their lead to eight points and then Brian Stack scored a pointed free Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave seven points between the sides. Ballysteen scored the 1-2 of the game to leave 12 points between the sides and then Sean Madden of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point of the game to leave 11 points between the sides. Ballysteen scored the next point of the game to leave 12 points between the sides and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the last 1-1 of the game and the goal came from Brian Stack and the point came from Danny Mullane to leave 8 points at the end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Ballysteen 1-13 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-05.
