Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Road Hurling
Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Road Hurling will take on Thursday March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day), starting in Broadford and finishing at Dromcollogher Church, starting at 9am sharp, Teams of 3 €10 adult/ €5 U18, open to the public and members of other GAA Clubs, All Juveniles must be accompanied by an Adult.

For all of those that also join the Club Limerick Draw, we are giving a €10 discount on membership. The Club Limerick Draw provides support for our club getting 50% of all entries. Again, as always membership must be paid by March 31st of 2022 to have voting rights and to qualify to apply for tickets for Limerick Senior Hurling & Football championship matches (including All-Ireland Finals should Limerick qualify). Anyone paying membership after this date will not qualify to apply for tickets. Club Football Championship Draws and Fixtures 2022
We have been drawn in the Intermediate Football Championship in Group 2 in a group of Gerald Griffins, Rathkeale, Pallasgreen, Mungret/ St. Paul’s. Fr. Casey’s. Round 1 VS Fr. Casey’s on weekending July 3rd, Round 2 VS Rathkeale on weekending July 10th, Round 3 VS Pallsgreen on weekending July 24th, Round 4 VS Gerald Griffins on weekending August 21st, Round 5 VS Mungret/ St. Paul’s on weekending August 28th, Quarter Finals on weekending September 25th, Sem-Finals on weekending October 9th, Final on Sunday October 23rd.
Club Hurling Championship Draws and Fixtures 2022
We have been drawn in the Junior A Hurling Championship in Group 1 in a group of Ballybricken/ Boheramore, Templeglantine, Blackrock, Staker Wallace, Crecora/ Manister. Round 1 VS Ballybricken/ Boheramore on weekending July 31st, Round 2 VS Crecora/ Manister on weekending August 7th, Round 3 VS Templeglantine on weekending September 4th, Round 4 VS Blackrock on weekending September 11th, Round 5 VS Staker Wallace on weekending September 18th, Quarter Finals on weekending October 2nd, Semi-Finals on weekending October 16th, Final on Sunday October 30th.

To Limerick Senior Footballers and especially to our club player Cillian Fahy against Wicklow, Limerick defeated Wicklow on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-09, in the Allianz National Football League Division 3 Round 4.

To Limerick Senior Hurlers against cork, Cork defeated Limerick defeated on a scoreline of 2-19 to 1-13, in the Allianz National Hurling League Division 1A Round 3.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw
The following are the Results of the Lotto Draw that took place on the 22-02-2022, and the numbers were: 4, 14, 16, 29. There was no winner of Jackpot at €5,400 and there was one winner of match three at €100 and that was: Billy O’Connor and the Lucky Dips at €50 each were: Anne Madigan, Broadford and Eoin Barry, Dromcollogher and next week’s draw took place on Monday last 28-02-2021, in the GAA Field, Dromcollogher and the Jackpot was at €5,500 and the Match Three will be stayed at €100.
The following are the Results of the Lotto Draw that took place on the 28-02-2022, and the numbers were: 1, 6, 17, 27. There was no winner of Jackpot at €5,500 and there two winners and they each got €50 each and they were: Con O’Connor, Broadford and Denis O’Carroll Junior and the Lucky Dips at €50 each were: Nigel O’Callaghan, Dromcollogher and Evie Leahy, and next week’s draw take place on this coming Monday last 07-03-2021, in the GAA Field, Dromcollogher and the Jackpot will be at €5,600 and the Match Three will be staying at €100.

New Defibrillator and Defibrillator Training
On behalf of Dromcollogher/Broadford GAA we would like to thank everyone that contributed to our fundraiser to purchase our new defibrillator and heated storage box. We now have a new LIFEPAK CR2 Defibrillator stored in a heated Defibstore 4000 Polycarbonate box, and it is positioned on the front wall of our clubhouse. Dromcollogher/Broadford GAA would like to train all our community in how to use the defibrillator, especially given what has happened in recent times. We think everyone should avail of this opportunity. Dromcollogher/Broadford GAA have set up a club information WhatsApp group. We will use this group to send out information on club fixtures and results, lotto updates and results, ticket information and all other notifications relating to the club. This should cut down on the amount of information being sent out on multiple groups. This will be an admin-controlled WhatsApp group.
