U12 hurling Notes
On Thursday night our U12 hurlers were at home to Newcastle West. This game was played in three quarters of 15 minutes a quarter. Newcastle turned up with plenty of numbers to spare with Drom Broadford with just the thirteen players. This turned out to be a great game of hurling with some great skill on show not alone all blocking and hooking and hard work. These group of players don’t know when to give up as they showed in the last quarter when they were down by 4pts, they battled up and down the field to win the game by 2pts. All these players can be very proud of themselves there way they performed. A big thanks to the referee on the night to the first aider and to all our supporters on the night. The list of players was: C. Burke, R. Jefferies, O. Broderick, R. Sheehan, G. Farrell. A. O’Dell. S. Browne, A. O’Kelly, D. Fealy. R O’Dell, J Lenihan, D O’Connell and D.J. Cussen.
