U13 football
On Thursday night our u13 footballers played there second match of the championship. The opposition on the night were Kildimo/ Pallaskenry. Our boys started the game well moving the ball through the lines clocking a few good scores. Kildimo/ Pallaskenry started to grow into the game getting a few goals at the half time whistle Dromcollogher/ Broadford were up by 1 point. After a discussion at the break the boys started to use the ball much smarter. They boys clocked a score of 3-5 in the second half to Kildimo/ Pallaskenry’s 1-2. The result on the night was: Dromcollogher/ Broadford 5-8 to Kildimo/ Pallaskenry 3-4. This was a great result this makes it 2 out 2 for the boys. The list of players on the night were. S. Pierce, C. The following are the Results of the Lotto Draw that took place on the 23-05-22, and the numbers were: 2,3,10,17 There was no winner of Jackpot at €6,700, and they also were no winner of match three at €100 and the two Lucky Dips at €50 each were: Mike Collins and Deirdre Greaney, Dromcollogher and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday 30-05-2022, in the GAA Field, Dromcollogher and the Jackpot went up to €6,800 and the Match Three staying at €100.

We will use this group to send out information on club fixtures and results, lotto updates and results, ticket information and all other notifications relating to the club. White Collar Boxing
Another incredible weekend in our corner if the world. Well done to everyone on their fundraisers for Broadford United AFC and Dromcollogher Broadford GAA White Collar Boxing. Training is gruelling but the boxers are thriving on it. Tickets for the event in The Charleville Park are presently only available from the boxers or a committee member. This coming weekend is another busy one. On Friday May 27th sees 3 events taking place so there’s something for everyone. The start of summer party is on Friday evening from 7pm in beautiful Springfield Castle. Loaded fries, cocktails, and music. Tickets €25 and are available from Caroline 0863630098, Karen 0876870749, Mag 0876059237, or Elaine on 0874416768. Always a great night. For Primary school kids there is a football and hurling training session at Dromcollogher Broadford GAA pitch with Cillian Fahy, Shane Dowling, Tommy Ryan, and Tom Condon. Tickets €10 per child or €15 per family. Book in with Tom on 0872325487. Friday night also sees a darts tournament in Nellie’s bar, Dromcollogher. Always draws a big crowd. Great night whether spectating or taking part. Saturday, there is a kids disco in the hall. Up to 2nd class from 4pm to 6pm, 2nd to 6th from 7pm to 9pm. Admission is €5 and there will be a shop in the hall for both discos. Begley’s Bar is hosting a Mr & Mrs competition on Saturday night May 28th. Who will become our new reigning couple!! Sunday May 29th sees a 5km starting at 11am from outside the community hall and through the grounds of beautiful Springfield Castle. €10 per adult, €3 per child and €20 for a family. The creche is also accepting clothes donations until June 1st.
