DROMCOLLOGHER/BROADFORD

U13’s Top Off Fantastic Year With County Final Success
On Thursday night last our U13 Footballers travelled to Mick Neville Park to take on Ahane in the Division 2 Championship County Final. The Dromcollogher/ Broadford side started the game very well moving the ball from attack to defence getting a few vital scores to leave the score at half time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-4 to Ahane 2 points. The second half came down to a battle with Ahane attacking in waves, with Dromcollogher/ Broadford finding it very difficult to get the ball up the field by getting a goal mid into the second half. Ahamed got the score down to a two-point game with six minutes remaining, Dromcollogher/ Broadford defence held their nerves to come away with a mighty victory to claim a county title for these courageous players.
