This was a very tight game with Belville Gaels being slighter better team on the day.
Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first two points coming from Lee Foley and Danny Mullane and then Beville Gaels scored their first point of the game to leave a point between the sides. Micheál Fahy of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored a point to leave two points between the sides and then Belville Gales scored the next 1-3 of the game before the break to leave four points between the sides at end of the half. To leave the score at half-time Belville Gaels 1-4 to Belville Gaels 0-3.
Belville Gaels scored the first two points of the second half to leave six points between the sides and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three point with two of these points coming from Micheál Fahy and the point coming from Tommy Ryan to leave three points between the sides. Belville Gaels scored their second goal of the game to lead by six points with 46 minutes gone in the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-1 of the game with goal coming from Lee Foley and the point coming from Micheál Fahy to leave two points between the sides with 44 minutes in the game. Belville Gaels scored the next 2-1 of the game to leave nine points between and then Adam Cotter of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point to leave eight points between the sides. Belville Gaels scored the next point to leave eight points between the sides and then Tommy Ryan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave 8 points between the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Belville Gaels 4-8 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-9.

U13 Hurling Notes
On Thursday night last our U13 hurlers took on Newcastle west in Dromcollogher. This was a tough outing for Dromcollogher/ Broadford as they were without several players due to holidays. Fair play to all the players on the night they really battled to the final whistle. Newcastle west team had a bit more experience on the night ran out winners of Newcastle West 3-5 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-4. The line out was as follows. B. Lenihan, S. Pierce. M. McCarthy, B.
