Limerick Senior Football joint captain , Donal O’Sullivan has confirmed his decision to retire from inter county football as of from today.
The news that Donal O’Sullivan is retiring from inter county football will be greeted with great disappointment by all followers of Limerick football .
Donal has been one of Limerick’s most consistent performers over many years and has been a true leader of the Limerick Senior Footballers with many inspiring performances. On the field he displayed tremendous courage and tenacity , making him one of the best goalkeepers in the country over his career and was never found wanting in the heat of battle.
Donal has represented his Club and County with distinction throughout his long career . On behalf of Limerick GAA, Coiste Peil , players and management past and present and all Limerick GAA supporters, thank you Donal .
