Limerick GAA express Sincere Sympathy to the Family, relatives and friends of Johnnie Hayes, former Cappamore and Limerick Hurler, who died at his home on Monday 1st. July.
Johnnie was am member of the Limerick Minor Hurling team that won the All Ireland Final in 1958, and Captained his club Cappamore to County Senior Hurling Championship title in 1964.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Catherine, son Con, daughters Bridget, Josephine, Helena and Caitriona, daughter in law Rachael, sons in law Denis and Keith, adored grandchildren Katie, Emily, Sean, Niamh and Finn, sisters Sr. Nora and Mary Fitzgerald, sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Cappamore, this Tuesday, 2nd July, from 6 o’clock with removal at 8 o’clock to St. Michael’s Church, Cappamore. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 3rd at 11.30 o’clock, burial afterwards in Abington Cemetery.
