Junior A Football:
Last Sunday we played Crecora in round 3 of the county championship in sunny Fedamore. Even though we were missing a few players we started very well with Mark Reidy hitting the net 4 times in the first 20mins. We dominated the first half and used the ball very well, going in at half time 4.06 to 0.03 ahead. After the break we missed a couple of early chances and it seemed to set the tone for the half although we were now playing against the breeze which had picked up a good bit. We had plenty of the ball throughout the half but turned it over numerous times thus allowing Crecora to counter attack. It was very warm and we had done a lot of running so maybe this effected the performance in the second half. The game was never in doubt after our great start and it finished 4.11 to 1.08. Our final group game is against South Liberties on Sunday Sept 8th in Crecora at 6pm.
