CROOM GAA CLUB NOTES

Talk on Sport & Exercise Nutrition-Dr. Catherine Norton UL
Last Thursday the club welcomed Dr. Catherine Norton from UL to speak to our players, parents, coaches, and members. It truely was a fantastic informative evening with great engagement from the audience of about 50. Catherine had a great rapport and interaction particularly with our younger players. They showed their interest to strive for excellence and we hope they take on board a lot of what was discussed. Slides are available on email from Stephen Lucey. We would like to thank the club for getting behind this talk and for all who helped organise it. We hope to have further guest speakers/coaches in the months and years ahead.

Commemorative Plaques in the Clubhouse:
We are delighted to launch our fundraising plaque initiative for the clubhouse. This is a plaque that you can have personalied with names dedicated to your family or loved ones maybe with a short message. The plaques will be on display together in the hall upstairs in the clubhouse. It is a nice gesture to remember those close to you while at the same time helping to fund the clubhouse
