Thanks to all who supported our underage blitz, bake sale and raffle last Sunday morning in aid of the ongoing developments at our pitch. A special word of thanks to Caitriona Hickey for organising. We raised a grand total of €4250. It was an amazing day, made possible by the hard work and efforts of so many. Thank you to all the ladies who sold cakes, tea, balloons and tickets. Ye are an amazing team and everyone worked so hard on the day. To the coaches, thank you for running the blitz and all the training ye provide our boys with. They are very lucky to have you all. Thank you to our amazing bakers, who provided so many delicious treats! A cake sale doesn’t happen without cake.
To our generous sponsors – what amazing prizes we had. Thank you so much to all who donated and sponsored. Special Mention to Fennessy’s Pub (Dara & Debbie Collins) & Shannon Ices (Alan & Breda Murphy) who sponsored all the beverages for today’s fundraiser. Thank you to Andrew Deakin who supplied and fitted the gazebos today. They added a sense of class to the day. Thank you to Pat Byrnes and David Delahunty our Chairmen for their encouragement and support. Special mention to John McCarthy for delivering the wonderful Liam McCarthy Cup! It was wonderful to get some team and individual photos with it. Finally, to all of you, who came and supported today with your cakes, children and few euro it was lovely to have such support.
Well done to Paddy O’Donnell of Manister NS who represented Limerick at half time in the recent Limerick v Tipperary Munster football semi final. Well done also to Sam Collins who represented Limerick in hurling in the primary game against Tipperary several weeks ago.
Congratulations to Sean O’Donovan who won the star prize in the April edition of the Club Limerick Draw.
Best of luck to our county senior football and hurling teams with their preparations for their upcoming Munster finals against Kerry and Clare respectively.
