CRECORA MANISTER GAA CLUB NOTES
ALL-IRELAND FINAL:
The club would like to wish Cathal and all of the Limerick senior hurling team and management the best of luck in Sunday’s All-Ireland final against Cork.
ADULT HURLING & FOOTBALL:
Our intermediate football and junior hurling teams continue to train away and play challenge matches ahead of their upcoming championships. Our footballers have been drawn in group 1 of the intermediate championship alongside Kildimo-Pallaskenry and Drom-Broadford and have receiced a BYE in the first round. Meanwhile our hurlers have been drawn in group 3 of the junior A championship alongside Old Christians, Templeglantine, Drom-Broadford, Ballybricken and Caherline.
UNDER 15 FOOTBALL:
A special word of mention to our under 15 footballers who beat Cappamore 4-10 to 1-9 last week and in doing so qualified for a county quarter final against Newcastlewest on Monday 23rd Aug at 7pm. Best of luck lads.
UNDERAGE BLITZES:
Our under 9 hurlers took part in a blitz in Crecora last Friday where they won one, lost one and drew two with some great hurling on display. Check out our Facebook page for photos. Upcoming dates for blitzes are as follows:
