Our U20s face Cappamore on Sunday 2nd at 2pm Venue TBC
Crecora-Manister GAA – Gary O’Connell Memorial Cup:
Our annual soccer match took place this year on Sunday at 3pm in Meanus, where we faced off against our hosts, Meanus, in the Gary O’Connell Memorial Cup. It was a great occasion and a fitting tribute to Gary. A huge thank you to everyone who turned up to support both teams and helped make it such a special day of remembrance. Final score Crecora/Manister 3 Meanus 1. Team: Eoghan O’Connor, Donnacha Connolly, Darragh Skelly, Tom Shanahan, Tim Moloney, Conor Kirby, David Rickard, Padraig Byrnes, Sean Malone, Cathal O’Neill, Colm Cassidy, Martin Frawley, Cormac Flanagan, Stephen McDermott. All support was greatly appreciated — we look forward to next year’s game!
U6 End of Year Session:
Our under 6’s had their last training session of the year on Monday, 20th October. They were kindly presented with medals by Cathal O’Neill. Thank you to all the boys for bringing great effort and fun to training all year.
U9 Blitz in Na Piarsaigh:
Our U9s took part in a blitz yesterday hosted by Na Piarsaigh. There were some very competitive and enjoyable games throughout the day, and our players gave a fantastic account of themselves. A big thank you to Na Piarsaigh for their excellent organisation and warm hospitality to all clubs involved.
Well done to all our young players and coaches!
Santa / Christmas Fair:
Save the Date on November 30th we will be hosting our annual Christmas Fair in Manister Hall. Santa & Mrs Claus has confirmed they will join us to meet all the families. Again, all proceeds are in aid of the pitch development fund. Our Santa Booking is open and Santa and Mrs Claus are looking forward to meeting you and your family again this year.
