Crecora/Manister GAA Club Notes:

Our U12 Hurlers face Kildimo/Pallaskenry on Monday 9th in Pallaskenry

Our U11 Footballers play NaPiarsaigh on Tuesday 10th in South Liberties at 6pm

Championship begins for our U14s Footballers who are away to ABK Desomonds on Thursday 12th at 7pm

On Saturday our U12 Hurlers are away to Granagh/ Ballingarry at 11am

Well done to Cathal and all the Limerick team who produced one of the most amazing games of hurling this year. We look forward to the next day out on the weekend of weekend of June 21st/22nd where we face either Dublin or Kildare.

It was fantastic to see our own Scott Fitzgearld in the Primary Game at half time of the Munster Final. Well done Scott!

As a warm up to the Munster Final on Saturday our U12s welcomed St. Colmcille’s, Cork for a great game. To add to the flavour of the game the boys lined out in their respective county jerseys. The heavy shower of rain did not dampen the game which turned into an even battle with the “Limerick” boys coming out on top.  Thanks to all the coaches from both teams for creating an exciting start to our Munster Final day.

Special mention to the ladies who added with refreshments for parents, coaches and players.

Our U14s had a convincing win over Ballybrown on Thursday 5th. This leaves them top of the table. Our next game is against Caherline on Sunday 29th in Caherline.

Our Intermediate footballers had a good win against Ahane on Wednesday night. The Final Score was 3.11 to 1.10. Our team consisted of Stephen Keating, David Macken 0-1 Tim Moloney, Thomas Connolly, Colm Parnell, Patrick Dolphin, Lochlainn O Keeffe, Stepen O’Donavan, Cathal Monaghan, Timmy Duggan 1-1, Dan Carthy 0-1, Cormac Flangan 0-1, Colm Cassidy 1-2, Mike McCormack 0-2, Rory Hannon 1-3. Subs Mike Fitzgerald.

Our U10’s played a hurling blitz last Friday evening in Murroe Boher. We had a panel of 13 boys who played 4 games against Na Piarsaigh & Murroe Boher. The matches were very competitive with great skill, work rate & scores by our boys in all 4 matches.

On June 13th we’re having our Community Summer Night in Fennessy’s Pub. Everyone is invited for an evening of chat craic & nibbles. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Our New Underage Summer Academy takes place from Monday June 30th to Thursday July 3rd. An action packed four days of fun and games is promised for children aged 6+.
