Cúl Camp – Success:
Crecora Manister GAA in association with Crecora Camogie Club have just completed another wonderful Cúl Camp this past week with over 100 children registered. Thanks to all the Coordinators, Coaches and Helpers involved. Without your dedicated efforts, energy and enthusiasm this camp would not be the success it is. On Wednesday Cathal dropped in to give some encouragement and tips.

Frances Barrett – Recognition:
Recently our National School in Crecora marked the retirement of our Deputy Principal Frances Barrett. After an amazing 35years of service Crecora Manister GAA and Crecora Camogie presented Frances with a beautiful garden bench as a token of our gratitude for her contribution to Gaelic Games within the Parish.
We would like to wish Frances a happy and healthy retirement and hopefully she won’t be a stranger at the GAA pitch in the future.

Clarenbridge Garden Centre – Walking Track Flower Beds:
A huge thank you to David and all at Clarenbridge Garden Centre, Crecora for the provision of flower beds and plants along our walking track, and for the donation of an additional bench. All this greatly enhances the appearance of our grounds, and as a club, we are extremely grateful.

Local Success:
Congratulations to Evan O’Byrne, brother of hurlers Rían & Oisín who, at the age of sixteen has been selected for the Irish U19 rowing team. Following a 3-week training camp, Evan and the Irish team will compete in the World Championships in Canada in August. This is a huge honour for Evan and his family which is blessed with brilliant athletes. We wish him well.
