Team of the Week – Cathal O’Neill:
We would like to congratulate our own Cathal O’Neill on being included in the Team of the Week last week at Centre Back. Cathal was named at Centre Forward but took up the role at Centre Back and did a superb job. He contributed 4 points from play in a big Limerick win against Dublin in Croke Park.

County Players:
Best of luck to Niall Conheady who has been chosen for the Limerick Celtic Challenge team for the coming season. Three of our under 15 club Players, Sam Collins, Cian Hickey & Pierce Griffin will also be lining out for Limerick this year. Sam and Cian have been selected on the Limerick U15 Hurling squad for 2024 and Pierce has been selected for the Limerick U15 Football squad for 2024.
This is great recognition of all the training and the time these 4 young men have spent improving their skills.
Well done Niall, Sam, Cian & Pierce, Crecora Manister GAA Club wish you the best of luck for the season ahead.

Munster U15A O’Dowd Cup Hurling Final:
Best of Luck to Patrick Concannon, Cian Hickey, Sam Collins and Ardscoil Rís who play Midleton CBS next Wednesday March 06th at 1.30pm in Fethard.

Limerick Mackey Cup:
Lewis O’Mahoney, Conor Hickey and Fionn Kennedy were all successful in being selected to represent Crecora N.S. on the East Limerick squad. The Mackey Cup Competition takes place on Wednesday 13th in Rathkeale. Again, were are very proud of the four boys and wish them every success.

Juvenile Athletic Development:
Our Juvenile Athletic Development was completed last Wednesday evening after a highly successful 15 week block. We would like to thank our club Coaching Officer Ger Hickey and Club Bord nÓg Chairman Ger Browne for driving this initiative.

Fundraising:
We would like to thank everyone for their support of the clothing drive for the underage. All monies raised will be put to good use for the underage boys in the coming year.

Club Limerick Draw:
Limerick GAA have launched the 2024 CLUB Limerick Draw.
Representatives from our Club will be out on the roads in the coming weeks, calling into houses, dropping in the brochures and asking for your support for this great fundraiser for both our Club and for Limerick GAA.
10 draws in the year, €10 per draw. Next draw date is 30th March.

It is possible to renew Player Registration and Membership on the GAA Foireann website.
Please log onto to www.foireann.ie and then select the option you require.

Walking Club:
All are welcome to use our 750 metre walking track.
It is flood lit to allow for walking later in the day.
For anyone wishing to support the running costs for the lighting and the general upkeep of the walking track, a voluntary Annual Walking Club Membership of €30 can be paid online via the GAA Foireann website.
Go to www.foireann.ie and Register.
Click on Membership on the left of the screen, then select Membership Options at the top of the screen. You can then select the Social Walking Club option.

Scór Sinsear:
The Scór Sinear Stage Competition will take place on March 22nd in Pallasgreen @7pm. Tráth na gCeist will be held on March 21st @8:30pm in Mungret. Both very exciting events and anyone interested in taking part can contact our Irish Officer, Annette Byres on 087 6970754.

Scór Gaeltach:
If any of our second level students are interested in Irish college this year and would like to apply for a scholarship please contact our Irish Officer Annette Byrnes on 087 6970754. Application deadline is March 31st.

Strategic Development:
A planning application has been lodged this week with Limerick City and Council for a club gym. Other developments plans will be advised in the coming weeks. Special word of thanks to Mark Leahy and Aidan Malone for their ongoing work.

Healthy Club Committee:
Our healthy club representatives, Donnacha Ryan, Tara O’Doherty, Deirdre Clarke and John Power would like to thank everyone who took part in the recent walking challenge. We exceeded our goal of 4,000 km. The next initiative to be undertaken is to make our grounds a smoking and vaping free zone. Further information to follow.
