CLUB DEVELOPMENT UPDATE:
Just to advise that ESB Networks will be doing electrical upgrade works at the GAA pitch next week, which is another important part of our Club Development Programme. Many thanks to Aidan Malone for co-ordinating the preparatory work for this in recent weeks with Cathal Scully, and for his engagement with ESB Networks in advance of this upgrade.
A grant funding application was also recently submitted to the Munster Council based on development works completed at the pitch over the last two years. A grant decision on same will hopefully be notified to us before Christmas.
The next step in early 2023 is to review what development funding we have available to us, and look at the remaining objectives in our Clubs Development Plan, as well as other additional possible development works.
We will then consult with both clubs as to what should be prioritised and developed in 2023. All feedback is important and everyone will be welcome to contribute as part of this process.
Thanks to the Clubs Development Sub-Committee, both Club Executives and all involved in both the GAA and Camogie clubs, for your support to date with our club development projects, and we look forward to further development works at the pitch in 2023.
