Congratulations Tom
Tom Morrissey voted GAA.ie Hurler of the Week

The public has voted Limerick’s Tom Morrissey the GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

The prolific forward received 2,575 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Dublin’s Donal Burke (2,452) and Clare’s Aidan McCarthy (2,419)

Tom Morrissey (Limerick)

Tom Morrissey was outstanding for Limerick in their victory over Galway. He scored eight points, five of them from play, and was also a creative influence around the middle third of the field.

Donal Burke (Dublin)

Dublin fans will hope the injury that forced off Donal Burke late on in their defeat to Tipperary isn’t serious because he excelled before his departure, scoring 15 points, a whopping eight of which came from play.

Aidan McCarthy (Clare)

Aidan McCarthy has started the season in great form and was Clare’s best player again in their dominant victory over Wexford. He scored 1-10, 1-4 of it from play, and got on a huge amount of ball.

Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.
