Club Limerick Golf Classic takes place this Thursday and Friday

The 13th Annual CLUB Limerick Golf Event takes place at Castletroy Golf Club on this Thursday and Friday, May 25 and 26.
Speaking at the Launch of the Event, Sean Scanlan Chairman of Club Limerick, said the Event is a big part of the Club Limerick fundraising initiatives and he acknowledged the support of the main sponsor for this year Frank Hogan Skoda who have been sponsors of Club Limerick and Limerick GAA for a decade or more.
He also thanked Michael Gleeson, of Gleeson Shoes, Steve Gleeson, of Gleeson Sports Scene, Ken Ring of FINE Wines and Garry Howie, Professional Castletroy GC for their generous support of the event.
Frank Hogan said that his Company was delighted to be the main sponsor for the golf event again this year and he wished all teams representing Limerick GAA the best for the remainder of the season.
Castletroy Golf Club Captain, Derek Sheahan, thanked the Club Limerick Committee for staging their event at Castletroy Golf Club again this year.
He wished Limerick teams every success and he hoped that the Senior Hurlers would continue to achieve the success that we have become accustomed to.
In conclusion Sean indicated that there were a limited number of spaces still available on the timesheets.
He thanked all those in Attendance at the launch and he wished everyone taking part in the golf the best of luck.
