Club Limerick Dublin Notes:

A new year and season are already underway and as Club Limerick Dublin embarks on the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of its foundation in 1995, we hope to be able to commemorate the year in style.

On Sunday 2 March 2025, Limerick will host All-Ireland hurling champions Clare in Round 4 of the Allianz League at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.  CLD hopes to organise a bus trip to the match which throws in at 15.45.  This is subject to the event being financially viable and so is dependent on getting a sufficient response from members.  The estimated cost is €30 per person.  Participants should organise their own match tickets via gaa.ie.  A final decision will be made on Tuesday 25 February 2025.  Please submit your name and telephone number to Gerry O’Sullivan on osuilleabhain.gearoid@gmail.com or 087 2075017  or Ollie Mann at the.mann.family@hotmail.com or 086 249 2772 by 12.00 midday 25 February – friends of members are, of course, also welcome.  Details of pickup points will be confirmed once a decision has been made.  It is planned to stop for lunch/refreshments before the match at a location to be confirmed in Limerick city.

The AGM will take place in The Goat on Tuesday 24 March 2025 at 19.45.  Members are most welcome and are invited to encourage new members to attend the event.

The Annual Mass, organised by John Keating, will take place on Friday 11 April 2025 at The Goat.  Members and friends who have suffered a bereavement in the period since the last mass on 22 March 2024 and who would like to have that person remembered at the mass are asked to submit the names to Gerry O’Sullivan at osuilleabhain.gearoid@gmail.com or 087 2075017; Ollie Mann at the.mann.family@hotmail.com or 086 249 2772 or John Keating at 087 834 4966.  The celebrant will be Fr. Paddy Kelly C.Ss.R who has entered his 61st year as a Redemptorist.
