CLAUGHAUN GAA CLUB NOTES
Intermediate Football:
Due to our latest storm, the County Football League fixtures set for the weekend gone were postponed. This included our scheduled game vs Adare. We play St Senan’s this Saturday 6th March in Foynes at 3pm. All support appreciated.
U21 Hurling:
Our U21 hurlers played Knockaderry on Sunday in Mick Neville Park. Despite some good hurling and impressive score-taking they suffered defeat on a scoreline of 3-11 to 0-14. Team: Nathan Lane, Paul Kiely, Gearoid Leo, Adam Koyce, Jack McGarry, Craig Bromell, Dean Kennedy, Eoin Quigley, Ben Roche, Jack Liddy, John Moloney, Chima OHanya, Aidan Kirby.
Limerick Football Academy:
Congratulations to Robert Galligan and Ross McNally who made the Limerick U16 football panel for the coming year, and also to Aaron Considine and Jamie Hannon who made the U15 panel. The club are delighted to once again have representation on underage teams.
Club Lotto:
There was no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 1, 18, 20, 26. Next week’s jackpot is worth €9,800. Tickets can be purchased in the club bar or online at claughaungaa.com

Limerick U20 Football:
Hard luck to Craig Carew and the Limerick U20 football team who lost out to Kerry on a scoreline of 0-14 to 0-07. The game was extremely competitive for large periods with Kerry pulling away in the closing stages.
