CLAUGHAUN GAA CLUB NOTES

Intermediate Football:

Our intermediate football team will begin their All County Football League campaign next Saturday 29th February with a home fixture vs Adare. Best of luck to the team and management for the season ahead.

U21 Hurling:

The extreme weather conditions continued to play havoc with the U21 hurling fixtures as our game vs St Patrick’s was postponed. The game has been re-fixed for next Sunday 1st March at 12pm.

Underage Training:

Our various underage teams continue to train ahead of their upcoming competitions and blitzes.

St Brigid’s National School:

A huge well done to the hurlers of St Brigid’s NS who took part in a recent school’s blitz in which they won all of their games. The panel was largely made up of Claughaun players and it’s great to see a growing interest in hurling within the school.

Club Lotto:

There was no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 11, 12, 13, 15. Next week’s jackpot is worth €9,700. Tickets can be purchased in the club bar or online at claughaungaa.com.

Limerick U20 Football:

Congratulations to Craig Carew and the Limerick U20 football panel who scored a late win vs Tipperary in the Munster QF last Wednesday in Mick Neville Park. The club are thrilled for Craig and the team and wish them the best of luck this Wednesday night when they take on Kerry in LIT Gaelic Grounds at 7pm.
