Match Report: – IFC v Gerald Griffins:

Playing against a very stiff breeze in the opening half we found ourselves down 0-9 0-2 at half time, a great one handed save

from Brian Scanlon prevented us capitalising on some great build up play to narrow the gap. We slowly closed in on the second half

with some fine point taking but the Gerald Griffins net minder again foiled our numerous goal attempts which in the end was our undoing.

The whole panel & management are to be congratulated on the overall seasons displays and training schedule which will stand to this young

team in the years ahead.

U8 hurling :

We took part in a blitz in South Liberties on Sun 22/Sep – some great hurling was played and

all players enjoyed their day out! Well done to coaches Cian Graham, Darren Kenihan & Derek

Lawlor who are doing a great job in developing the skills of this fine bunch of young students!

U10 Camogie :

Treaty Gaels travelled to Kileedy on Sat 21/Sep for the County Camogie blitz.

We played very competitive & tough games with camogie being the real winner!

U10 hurling :

Fri 20/Sep in Claughaun we had 3 matches against St Patricks with 3 teams totalling

25 kids in total with everyone turning in great displays. Well done to Colin Tuite & Co.

U12 football:

We had our football final in UL last Friday 20/Sep evening and a repeat of a group game

against East Limerick opposition in the shape of Pallasgreen. A good start meant we had

a 1.02 to no score lead at half time. A second half flurry of scores had Pallasgreen within

one point with time running out but a spirited performance and a late save from our standout

keeper Jack McNally meant we held on to win. Great scenes of joy from the boys who

thoroughly deserved the win. Thanks to all those parents for your support and the coaches

Morgan O’Sullivan, Mike Marnell and goalkeeping coach Ross McNally. We look forward to our hurling

final this weekend.
