Fri 2/Aug – Griffin Coaches County IFC Rd 4 : Claughaun 3-10 2-13 Rathkeale.
Mon 5/Aug- U16F v Bruff – off.
Match Reports:
JBFC: The score line doesn’t do justice to our very young team under the stewardship of Daniel Roche.
We had 20 players togged last Wed in HQ and were penalised heavily by a lively Na Piarsaigh attack.
In the 2nd half we were left to rue many good chances which would have showed a more favourable score line.
Further championship games remain v St Patricks & Mungret which will develop this team even further.
IFC: A very entertaining encounter last Friday evening in a resplendent Bruff grounds saw us eventually
yield to a late scoring burst from Rathkeale who scored 1-4 to force a draw. A marvellous team performance
saw us notch up a fine 3-10 with some excellent passages of play & puts us top of the table with one game
remaining v St Patricks on weekend of 24/Aug. A win for either team will see them qualify for the county
semi-final with a spot in the quarter final the prize for coming second.
