CASTLETOWN/BALLYAGRAN GAA CLUB NOTES

FDA Movathon:
Castletown/Ballyagran FDA are running a Club Movathon on this May Bank Holiday weekend where the adult and juvenile GAA and Camogie clubs will work together to raise funds for the next phase of the field development. The Club is asking that everyone take part by walking, running or cycling on this May Bank Holiday weekend. The Club has set up an idonate page at www.idonate.ie/Clubctb21 where everyone can donate online. If anyone knows people or businesses that would prefer to donate with cheque/cash, or if they would like to donate in this way, it can be done through Joe Riordan, Chairperson Field Development Association (087) 923 7517. There will also be a donation stand both this Saturday and Sunday from 9-1 outside Dolans shop in Ballyagran. The Club would be really grateful for your support on this and it would be great to see everyone working together to improve the facilities for our community.

Con & Annie Kirby Memorial:
Huge congratulations from Castletown Ballyagran GAA to Michael O’Dwyer, owner of Stonepark Leo, along with trainer Mark O’Donovan and all the connections on a magnificent win in the Con and Annie’s Kirby Memorial 2021 last Saturday night. A big thank you also to Noreen and JP McManus for their support of Limerick GAA. The GAA club is currently redeveloping our field and surrounding area. This competition has been very beneficial to us in the last number of years and has helped us to grow as a club. Castletown Ballyagran GAA would also like to thank Limerick Greyhound Stadium for organising great competition and wish them continuing success going forward. Fingers crossed that crowds will be back in the stadium in the very near future. Finally, a big thank you to Club Limerick for all of their hard work with clubs in running this fantastic competition.
