U16 Hurling Division One
Round eight of the U16 hurling championship took place last Monday away to Mungret. A big win for our U16 hurlers against Division one table toppers Mungret on a score line 2-14 vs 1-15 with the important goals coming from Ciarán Kennedy and Rhys O’Malley. Liam O’Donnell gave a free taking exhibition on a day where Cappamore with their full compliment of players showed their true potential at this age group.

U16 Football Championship Division 2 County Final
Cappamore 3-11 vs 3-5 Killacolla Gaels
Congratulations to our U16 footballers county division two champions with victory over killacolla Gaels on a scoreline 3-11 vs 3-5.
Cappamore started well scoring a goal and three points from play and led 1-3 to 0-2. Some wastefull chances allowed killacolla settle and they led 1-4 vs 1-3 after 25mins. Back came cappamore with 1-1 just before half time to leave it 2-4 vs 1-4 going in at the break. The second half was a much improved performance and Cappamore took control and increased there lead to 6 points and further to 9 points following a Rhys O’Malley goal. Team and panel on the day:

U14 Camogie
Niamh Mulcahy, and Aoibhe Rodahan, Cappamore took part in U14 Camogie all Ireland blitz in Dublin on Saturday the 7th and attended the Camogie All Ireland final on Sunday while representing Limerick in the parade prior to the finals, a great way to finish a very busy Camogie season.

U8 Hurling
Having earlier in the year traveled to Ahane this time it was our turn to host a challenge against our East Limerick neighbours. A tough and competitive encounter with the panel spit up into U8s and U7s.

Cappamore U10 Hurling
On Wednesday evening last our U10 hurlers hosted Crecora Manister. Well done to both teams who put in a great effort. We had 4 games in total and all were very competitive. It’s great to see the improvement in all the lads. We had great performances on the night from David Burke, Ross Ryan, Joshua Byrne and Harry Gleeson.
