CAHERLINE GAA CLUB NOTES
GAA LOTTO: No winner, numbers drawn were 10, 17, 23, 28. Lucky dip winners were Annie-Mae Ludlow, Mary O’Donovan, Marian Higgins, Roger Fitz and Nicola. Next weeks jackpot will be €4,900 and the draw will be held on Friday night in Flannery’s Bar, Caherconlish.
JUNIOR A HURLING: Great win on the road for our Junior A boys last Sunday evening against Cappamore in the 2nd round of this years East Junior A League – a fairly even first half was followed by a dominant display by Caherline in the second half, running out winners by 3-24 to 1-14. JUNIOR B HURLING: Round 3 of the East Junior B League takes place on Tuesday evening in Caherconlish against Doon, set for a 6:30pm throw-in. Round 4 is scheduled for Saturday next, April 27th, away to Pallasgreen at 7pm.
MINOR HURLING: Our Minor’s kick off their 2019 championship on Friday evening next, hosting Kildimo-Pallaskenry in Caherconlish, throw-in at 6:45pm.
U-12 HURLING: Our U-12’s kick off their 2019 campaign on Thursday evening, when they will welcome Na Piarsaigh to Caherconlish, with a 6:45pm throw-in.
CAHERLINE GAA ANNUAL TABLE QUIZ: Many thanks to everyone that came out to support our table quiz last Saturday night and well done to our winners,their prizes kindly sponsored by Heiton Buckley’s. Thanks also to Bercar Welding & O’Sullivan’s Centra for donating fabulous hampers to the raffle & to The Millennium Centre for hosting us.
