NAAS U-10 TOURNAMENT: The Naas U-10’s hurling tournament took place last Saturday, June 15th at Nass Gaa club, Co. Kildare, where Caherline were one of only two Limerick clubs invited to attend. The boys were an absolute credit to the club and their families in how they played and behaved. They improved with every game and never gave up. Thanks to the coaches Paddy O’Dwyer, Richie Coffey, Nick Madden, Jack Carroll and Wesley Power for all of their hard work. Thanks also to Pat Kennedy for keeping everyone up to date on social media and to John Hickey for the hurleys. The boys were presented with their medals by former Dublin hurler Declan O’Dwyer, who was impressed with their performances and told the boys that they should continue to practice and listen to their coaches. Thanks to Naas GAA and in particular to Brian Murnane for the annual invite which is the highlight of the under 10 year and to the parents who travelled and supported the boys for the day. Finally, thanks to the club who subsidised the bus and paid for the boys meal. The club raises a lot of its funds through the weekly club Lotto. If you do the club Lotto, you have indirectly contributed to this trip so thank you as well.
