CAHERLINE GAA CLUB NOTES
CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner – numbers drawn were 14, 20 23 & 24. Lucky dip winners were Ger O’Connell, Dick Baker, Ger Coffey, Daniel, Aisling & Diarmuid Murnane and Mary Daly. Next week’s jackpot will be €4,400 and the draw will be held on Friday night via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone’s support. BRIAN BUTLER CUP: This year’s Brian Butler Cup final between Caherline & Pallasgreen will be played this Wednesday evening December 1st at 7:45pm in the North campus of UL – all support welcome, no tickets required.
U-13 SLIEVE FELIM FINALS: Very well done to our U-13 panel of players & coaches on their Slieve Felim Cup win on Sunday morning. This is the second piece of silverware for these lads following their County Final win back in September. A lot of these lads move up to U-15 next year and we wish them the very best of luck. There’s a great bond between these lads and it was noted at the Junior A County Final that 14 of them lined up together on the fence in Killmallock that day cheering on the Junior team – in the next 4 – 5 years, they’ll be playing inside that fence! MUNSTER GAA JUNIOR HURLING CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP: After the weekend’s quarter finals, we now know the semi-final pairings – we travel to a Cork venue to play Ballygiblin, while Skeheenarinky of Tipperary welcome Ogonelloe of Clare to a Tipperary venue. All games to be played on December 11th/12th.
