BUSY WEEKEND OF COUNTY FINALS IN HURLING & FOOTBALL
What a very busy weekend on the Limerick GAA Calendar this weekend with no less than Seven County Finals down for decision in both Hurling & Football.
The first Final will be played on this Friday evening in Mick Neville Park, where Granagh/Ballingarry and Monaleen will meet in the County Minor ‘B’ Hurling Championship at 7.30pm
Tomorrow Saturday will have Three Finals for decision.
The Minor ‘A Hurling Championship Final will be played in Mick Neville Park whre Adare will play Murroe Boher at 2.30pm.
Meanwhile at LIT Gaelic Grounds, there is a very attractive double header, the meeting of Castletown/Ballyagran and Kilmallock in the Woodlands House Hotel Junior ‘A’ Hurling Championship Final will get proceedings underway at 1.30pm, this will be be followed at 3.30pm by the replay of the Lyons of Limerick, Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship Final, where Blackrock and Kildimo/Pallaskenry will meet, Extra time to be played if required, Result on the day.
Sunday will also have Three Finals, Bruff is the venue at Noon for the meeting of Garryspillane and Tournafulla in the Woodlands House Hotel Junior ‘B’ Hurling Champ[ionshiip Final. Another attractive double header will follow in LIT Gaelic Grounds, the replay of Griffins Coaches County Intermediate Football Championship Final will see Galtee Gaels and Gerard Griffins renew rivalry at 1pm., this game will also have Extra Time if required, result on the day. The IWP Senior Football Championship Final will see Newcastlewest and Oola battle for honors at 3pm.
