▪️COVID-19 RETURN TO PLAY

Our first week of the underage training took place . The club was so delighted to welcome all the children and coaches back to the Sportsfield. Well done to all the Coaches and Covid Officers in getting everything organised for all the children. They had a brilliant week.

As a community, We all must remain vigilant and adhere to the HSE & Government and GAA guidelines. The Health Questionnaire must be completed by parents of the child before all training sessions.

Strict social distancing should be adhered to at all times. We ask that all parents follow the guidelines. Coaches have been sent the guidelines and we ask all the coaches to share it all with there respective parent groups.

The next big date is Monday 10th May, When the outdoor adult training can recommence in pods of fifteen people, This includes Coaches. No Matches are allowed and our indoor facilities will remain closed. The Government announced that Monday June 7th is the return date for adult club matches, which will be played behind closed doors.

▪️New Limerick Jerseys For 2021 Season

Limerick GAA today launched their New Jerseys for the 2021 Season.

The New Jersey is a mix of the traditional jersey with a new design that incorporates the names of the 65 affiliated clubs within the county.

The addition of the club names to the jersey is an acknowledgment of work done by clubs to foster players where they harvest their skills to become inter county players.

John Cregan Chairman of Limerick County Board said “We are delighted to officially launch our new playing jersey for the 2021 season. I would like to thank the designers at O Neil’s who worked with us as a County Board to produce such an eye catching jersey. Given the work that clubs do in fostering and nurturing young players we are delighted to recognise the 65 clubs on the jersey. It is also a reminder for anyone that wears the jersey that they have a great honour to represent the county as one”

The home and away jersey is available for sale through the Limerick GAA website www.limerickgaa.ie
