U14 Football:
Our U14 lads continued their championship campaign during the week with a home game V ABK. They got off to a good start and only a few points in it at half time. An early goal in the second half got the lads within a point, however ABK got a good run in the final quarter to take the win. Our lads put in a great effort and making great progress.

Mike Weekes Presentation:
Last weekend, we proudly launched the Michael Weekes Cup, which will be presented to the winners of the All-Ireland Masters Hurling Final. His deep commitment to Club, serving as PRO of the Limerick County Board, and manage the Limerick Masters Hurling Team to All-Ireland glory in 2002. A huge congratulations to Mike Weekes & family. All in Bruff GAA are extremely proud
U16 County Football:
Well done to Eoghan Murnane, accepting the trophy on behalf of Limerick u16 footballers after their win over Carlow on a scoreline of 4.12 to 2.11 in the O Donovan shield final.
U11s:
Our u11 hurling team were invited to CJ Kickhams/Mullinahone to participate in one of the biggest underage tournaments in the country. There were teams from Cork, Clare, Roscommon, Dublin and as far up as Tyrone plus many more counties represented. We played St. Pats. (Tipperary) in our first match and won handy on a scoreline of 4.9 to 0.0, up next was one of the host teams C.J. Kickhams (red team) which was a bit tougher but the boys put up a good tough battle and won 1.7 to 1.2 and finally onto our last group game against Ballyhassig (Cork) this was going to be a very tough game for us as both teams had done well in the group stages so a win or a draw would have put us top. We played some fantastic hurling and the boys really dug deep with the scores level and only minutes left on the clock Ballyhassig won a sideline which Joe Canning would have trouble scoring but over it went, final score 1.4 to 1.3. Ballyhassig would eventually go on to play in the ‘A’ final losing out to Clooney/Quin (Clare). After the break and the draws were done we were up against C.J. Kickhams (green) in the Tess McNamara Cup semi-final. This was probably the best performance we had seen from our u11s, everyone and everything they did was fantastic, finishing 3.3 to 0.1. Up next in the final was Cappataggle (Galway). This was a really tough game and with the scores level at half time it just wasn’t our time yet with the final score Cappataggle 1.8 Bruff 1.6. We would just like to thank all the players for the commitment and the never say die attitude they showed yesterday and also to the parents and coaches for the help throughout the day. Thank you.
