There was no winner of last weeks Lotto Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 5, 22, 24 and 27. The Lucky Dip winners were €50 John Foley and €20 went to each of the following: Esme O’Connor, Mary Doherty, Shaney Ryan, Marie O’Leary, Jason Hayes, Andy Quinn, Jessica Okoroafor, D. Premier Intermediate Hurling
The Premier Intermediate Hurlers played Newcastle West in the County Semi Final last Saturday afternoon. The team was Eric Finn, Graham Whelan, Conor McEniry, Daire O’ Brien, Patrick Finn, Sean Finn, Kevin Bonar, Paul Browne, Sean Murnane, Darragh Butler, Christopher Browne, Colin Madden, Danny O’ Leary, Paul O’ Riordan, Kyle Dillon, Jason Hayes, Josh Keating, Conor McEniry, Colm O’ Loughlin, Pat O’ Neill, Oisin Mulqueen, Tim O’ Sullivan, John Bulfin, David Mulqueen, Killian Bennett and Cathal Bulfin. Four subs used. The scorers were Kyle Dillon (1-2), Sean Murnane (0-1), Darragh Butler (0-6, 0-4F, 0-2 65), Christopher Browne (0-2), Paul Browne (0-1), Danny O’ Leary (0-3, 0-1 65, 0-2 SL), Paul O’ Riordan (1-2, 0-1F) and Josh Keating (1-0). The final score at the end of normal time was Bruff 2-13 Newcastle West 1-16. The final score at the end of extra time was Bruff 3-17 Newcastle West 1-22. We now face Monaleen in the County Final.
Junior Hurling
The Junior Hurlers played Dromin/ Athlacca last Sunday in the South Semi Final. The team was Cormac Daly, Niall Brosnan, Pat O’ Neill, David Mulqueen, Cian Madden, Tony Burke, Oisin Mulqueen, Tim O’ Sullivan, Gregory Dempsey, Diarmuid Dennehy, Shane Bulfin, Patrick Dempsey, John Bulfin, Mike Weekes, David Browne, Ian Gardiner, Gavin Bracken, Evan O’ Neill, Cathal Bulfin, Darragh O’ Brien, Rory Coleman, Killian Bennett, James Callinan and Conor Hynes (injured). Five subs used. The scorers were Mike Weekes (0-1), John Bulfin (0-6), Shane Bulfin (0-8, 0-7), Patrick Dempsey (0-2) and Diarmuid Dennehy (0-1). The final score was Bruff 0-18 Dromin Athlacca 0-10.
Liam MacCarthy Cup
Liam MacCarthy is coming to Bruff!! The Community are invited to the GAA Clubhouse this Saturday, October 22nd, to take their picture with the Liam MacCarthy Cup. The Clubhouse will be open from 4pm to 6pm. Please bring young and old to celebrate with us. Refreshments will be provided.
Bord na nOg Fun Day
A Fun Day takes place this Saturday, 22nd October in Bruff GAA Club, co-hosted by Bruff Camogie Club and Bruff Bord na nÓg.

Following exhibition matches teams will take part in fun games and activities including, long puc, relay races, spud and spoon, etc. There is a raffle for some fantastic prizes, tickets can be purchased on the day. €2 per strip, 3 strips for €5. Refreshments will be provided. Each team will be presented with medals and treats. The raffle will raise much needed funds for both clubs. Don’t forget to bring euros!! We hope we can count on your support and make the next season as good as the last, and we can’t do that without you!! To all those great bakers and sandwich makers, we would appreciate it if you would open those oven doors one more time. This is guaranteed to be a day of fun for everyone.
