BLACKROCK GAA CLUB NOTES
There was no winner of the lotto held on 17th April in Healy’s bar, the numbers drawn were 8 10 20 30. The €40 lucky dip went to Brenda Carroll, Glenroe, Promotor Centra
The €20 went to Mary O’Brien Ryan, Ballyvodane, Promotor TG Ryan, Mary Duggan, Ballyroe Lr. Promotor Harry’s, Josie McMahon, Glebe Road, Promotor Breda Walsh, Con Danaher, Ballinlyna, Promotor Con Danaher. Next week the lotto returns to Healy’s Bar for a jackpot of €4,550.
Unfortunately in the Premier Intermediate Championship match V Mungret St Pauls we lost by 2 points in a hard fought match, playing very well and unfortunate not to score in the vital last few minutes when we were down 2 points. The final score was 4 14 to 2 18.
We return to the playing field on Thursday 25th April for the third round against Kildimo Palliskenry in Kilmallock at 7pm. All support would be very welcome.
On Saturday night the Junior B league starts with a match V Bruff in Kilfinane at 7pm. Come on the Rockies.

On June 22nd Blackrock GAA, Blackrock Bord na nOg and the Sunshine Kids Playschool will host Ballyhoura’s fittest family in the Michael Fox Memorial par, and the afterparty will be in McCarthys Bar. Tickets €10. More details next week.
