BLACKROCK GAA CLUB NOTES
There was no winner of the club lotto held on January 29th. The numbers drawn were 3 5 22 25. The €40 went to Mattie Murphy c/o Centra, the €20 lucky dips went to Don Flaherty c/o Fintan Leahy, Marie McCarthy, Kilfinane Promotor Centra, Declan O Brien, High Bridge Promotor Peter O’Sullivan, Pat O’Connor Ballyroe Lr, Promotor Brendan O’Brien.
The lotto on Wednesday 5th February is in McCarthys bar for a Jackpot of €10,400.
Our under 21 fixture V Adare has been postponed until following the sad passing of Sean O’Neills Grandfather Janey Gleeson. Sympathy to the O’Neill, Gleeson, McGrath and O’Connell families on his passing.
Fixtures
On Sunday 9th February our U21’s play Monaleen at 12md in Monaleen followed by the match V Adare on Sunday 16th in Kilfinane at 12.
The Senior hurlers play Glenroe in last years South Intermediate final on Wednesday 12th February.
Congratulations to the Limerick teams in the leagues on Sunday and especially Katie Hennessy who was midfield in the Limerick Senior Camogie team.
Congratulations to the Scoil Pol ladies footballers winning their semi-final V Newcastlewest, they now contest the Munster final, as do the U19 boys who play their munster final on Saturday 15th February.
