Blackrock GAA club lotto draw was held on Thursday night last November 20th.
The numbers drawn were 2, 26, 27 and 30. Jackpot of €2,100 was not won.

The Annual General Meeting of Blackrock GAA Club will be held on Wednesday next December 3rd. (Note of Change of Date) in Ardpatrick Community Hall at 7.30pm.

U20 Hurlers Advance to Semi Final:
The under 20 hurlers were back in action on Sunday last November 23rd. when they played Croom/Granagh/Ballingarry in the County under 20B hurling championship quarter final in Kilmallock. Blackrock playing with the aid of the breeze in the opening half raced into an 0.08 lead before Croom/Granagh/Ballingarry opened their scoring with a goal midway into the half, up until then Blackrock had dominated all sectors,playing some good hurling, with Croom Granagh/Ballingarry conceding free’s and they were punished by the accuracy of Blackrock free taker Shane Philpot, while Sean Flanagan, T.J Buckley and Sean Dwyer also added points from play, during the second quarter of the game Blackrock added four pointed free’s from Shane Philpot whie Croom/Granagh/Ballingarry replied with two points leaving the score board reading Blackrock 0.12 Croom/Granagh/Ballingarry 1.02. The second half saw the breeze much stronger and rain at their backs it was Croom/Granagh/Ballingarry
gain the initiative and scored two points in succession, one from a free to reduce the defitcit to five points and were getting the better of changes a pointed free from Shane Philpot steadied the flow of the game for a brief spell, but Croom/Granagh/Ballingarry hit back with a brace of points from play, Blackrock 0.13 Croom/Granagh/Ballingarry 1.06. Blackrock were on the attack on numerous occasions midway in the half but the Croom/Granagh/Ballingarry defence were holding out and as a result they turned defence into attack from which they won a 65 which was sent wide, before scoring two points in quick succession, one from a free leaving just two points between the sides with three minutes remaining. There was still plenty to follow, Blackrock fought back and won a free which Shane Philpot to give his side a three point lead entering the last minute, Croom/Granagh/Ballingarry pointed two frees, one in injury time as the Referee sounded the final whistle with Blackrock ahead by the narrowest of margins Blackrock 0.14 Croom/Granagh/Ballingarry 1.10 and giving them a place in the Semi Final .The Blackrock team and scorers Evan Heffernan, Brian O’Leary, James Philpot, Evan Lowe, Conor Gilligan, Blake O’Doherty, Jack Moloney, Sean Flanagan (0.01), Niall Ryan, Sean Dwyer (0.01), Shane Philpot (Capt)(0.11), Adrian Beqiri, Jack Cronin, T.J. Munster Colleges Senior Hurling Scoil Pól score a good win to reach knockout stages:
Scoil Pól senior hurling team scored a 3.16 to 1.16 win on Tuesday eveninglast November 18th. when they defeated St. Frances Rochestown in Munster TUS Corn Thomais Mhic Choilim, group 3 round 2 game in Midleton. The win gave Scoil Pol a top of the table place from their Group. Well done to players and management on this very well-deserved win and qualifying for the knock out stages, Special mention to club players, Jack Roche, Alex Burchill, T J. Buckley, Shane Philpott, Jack Moloney, Jack Cronin, Sean Flanagan, Conor Gilligan, Troy Burchill, Tommie Murphy, Brian O’Leary who are members of the panel.
