The numbers drawn were 11, 20, 28 and 29. The Jackpot was not won.

Very busy Week on the Field of Play:
The past week was inded a very busy one of the Field of Play especially for underage club teams on Monday August 11th. up to 90 children descended on the Michael Fox Memorial Park, for the, Blackrock GAA Cúl Camp 2025 which continued up to Friday August 15th. The Under 14 Hurlers has a home game on Monday evening when they played Hospital/Herbertstown in Mr. Binman County U14 hurling championship division 3A round 6, while on Wednesday evening the minor hurlers travelled to Pallaskenry to play the locals in County minor hurling championship division 1 round 6. The U16 hurlers were in action on the double over the weekend in Mr Binman County U16 hurling championship division 3A games, On Friday they played Glenroe in Ballylanders while Monday evening they made the journey to Knocklong to play Garryspillane.

What a super week for Blackrock GAA Cúl Camp 2025
We are so proud of all the children who were an absolute credit to their families and clubs. The coaches were very impressed by how much fun the week was and how easy it was to manage almost 90 children. Thanks to Powers Pharmacy for sending sun-screen & bug spray, to Sheehy’s Centra for sending down ice creams for all the children and coaches and to Molly’s for feeding the coaches on Friday. Well Done to all those involved in the organising and running of the very successful Cul Camp 2025.
Minor Hurlers:
Minor Hurlers overcome Kildimo/Pallaskenry in County Championship:
On Wednesday evening last August 13th. Blackrock made the journey to play Kildimo/Pallaskenry in County minor hurling championship division 1 round 6 game in Pallaskenry and after a well contested game it was the visitors who secured the victory on a score line Blackrock 3.13 Kildimo/Pallaskenry 1.12 after they had a 2.09 to 1.07 lead at the interval. Blackrock will play travel to Clarina on this Sunday August 24th to play Ballybrown in re fixed Round 4 game at 12noon.
Under 16 Hurlers continue their fine good run:
On Friday evening last August 15th. Blackrock made the short journey to Ballylanders to play neighbours Glenroe in Mr Binman County U 16 hurling championship division 3A Round 1 (Re fixture) at Dineen Park, the game also doubled up as the Final of The Thomas Sheehy Memorial Cup. Aided by the breeze in the opening half Blackrock began in a very dominant mood throughout the pitch, racing into a 1.07 to 0.02 in opening quarter, points from Conor Nunan (0.2) Jack Roche (0.02) Darragh Drake, Darragh Gleeson and Luke Gleeson while the goal scorer was Conor Philpot, Glenroe replied with two pointed free’s.
In the second quarter the visitors kept up their dominance adding further 2.06 to their total, coming from Jack Roche (1.03 1f), Conor Nunan (1.01), Darragh Drake (0.01), Darragh Gleeson (0.01) while Glenroe’s only reply was their third pointed free, to leave the score at the interval Blackrock 3.13 Glenroe 0.03.
On the resumption of play Tommie Murphy opened the scoring a point, which was followed by a pointed Glenroe free, both sides exchanged points, Jack Roche the Blackrock marksman. Before the visitors hit back with seven unanswered points, from Darragh Drake (0.01), Jack Roche (0.2 1f), Conor Nunan (0.03), Luke Gleeson (0.01) before Jack Roche, Conor Nunan, Tommie Murphy from a free added goals while Jamie Bequri free, Gearoid Flanagan and Tommie Murphy added points, Glenroe did add 1.05, (0.03f) without reply in the dying minutes, but it was too little too late as Blackrock scored a well merited 6.25 to 1.11victory
