A great victory on Sunday evening last July 27th.in the Round 1 game of the Lyons of Limerick County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship with Blackrock scoring a well merited victory over Bruff on a score line of 1.19 to 0.15 in a very entertaining game played in front of a big crowd in very well-presented playing conditions in Knocklong. The second half followed in the same pattern as the opening 30 minutes, but as the game progressed Blackrock got to grips with the opponents, coupled by a number of changes and a determined attitude and effort all players, a goal from top scorer Colm O’Keeffe, ensured the victory
