BLACKROCK GAA CLUB NOTES
There was no winner of the club lotto held on 11th July, the numbers drawn were 7 11 15 18. The €40 lucky dip went to Chris Ensor, Ballyhoura Heights, Promotor Brendan O’Brien. The €20 lucky dips went to Eimear Considine, Ardpatrick, Promotor Centra. David Healy c/o Healys, Ollie Herbert, Ardpatrick, Promotor Brendan O’Brien. Joan and Sean O’Riordan, St Annes Tce, Promotor Centra.
The next lotto jackpot is €6,350 in O’Shaughnessy’s bar on 17th July.
The Premier Intermediates drew with Feohanagh in the All County league on Friday night the 12th July 3 11 to 4 08. In an unfortunate clash of fixtures the Minor Hurlers also played on Friday night against Bruff losing on a scoreline of 3 20 to 4 11. Croom are our next opponents.
Limerick teams had mixed fortunes over the weekend, the ladies footballers lost as did the u20 footballers on Wednesday last. On Sunday the Senior Camogie team also lost to Galway on a scoreline of 2 12 to 1 10. Hard luck to Katie Hennessy and the team. The Limerick Junior camogie team drew with Waterford. 1 15 to 2 12.
On Saturday 27th July the Limerick Senior hurlers play Kilkenny and the Minor hurlers will know their opponents next weekend after the quarter finals.
